Obituary: Pauline F. Downing
Pauline F. Downing, 89, of Chillicothe, died 12:30 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 in Heartland of Chillicothe following an extended illness.
She was born September 2, 1924, in Ross County, to the late James E. and Elizabeth M. Gray Hatfield. On April 22, 1944, she married Charles E. Downing who died December 16 2005.
Surviving are children, Charles L. (Terri) Downing and Connie Y. Kuhn, both of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Eric T. Jones, whom she raised and Douglas A. “JR” Draher; great grandsons, Trevor Draher and Quincy Patterson; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Hatfield and sisters, Geraldine Strawser, Mary Park and Marie Richter.
Pauline was a member of the First Assembly of God. She retired from the Mead Corporation where she had worked for over 55 years. Pauline was an avid bowler and flower gardener. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing the guitar.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Shaun Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware’s from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Lorene M. Henson, 94, of Chillicothe, died 9:55 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 in Traditions of Chillicothe following an extended illness.
She was born October 15, 1919, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Albert Louis and Mary Mae Rinehart Trego. On June 20, 1960, she married William H. Henson who died May 22, 2008.
Surviving are friends and caregivers, Oscar and Carol Ann Rhoades, of Chillicothe.
Lorene worked at the US Shoe Corporation for over 40 years.
A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014, in Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Jack Norman officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.

Martin Andrew “Andy” Himelrick, 50, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 2, 2014, at his residence.
He was born May 12, 1964, in Chillicothe, to Elmer J. and Shirley R. (Howard) Himelrick.
Andy is survived by his mother, Shirley Himelrick, Richmond Dale; daughters Shasta Himelrick and Caselyn Canter; his fiancé Nicole Newland, all of Chillicothe; his brother and sister-in-law Mark and Kathy Himelrick, Richmond Dale; and several aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his father, Elmer J. Himelrick.
Andy was a graduate of Southeastern High School, Class of 1982, and worked as a Union Laborer, Local #423. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed cooking and enjoyed playing the role of Santa Claus at Christmas.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, August 5, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor John Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery, Richmond Dale. Friends may call Tuesday from 11am until 1pm at Haller’s.
