Vehicle goes into the Scioto River, One In Serious Condition
One person was transported via squad in serious condition after a vehicle went into the Scioto River on River Road in Pike County near Piketon late Wednesday night. Names, conditions or cause of accident are not yet known. More details as they are known.

State Fire Marshall called in to investigate house fire
Fire departments from Pike and Ross County's battled a structure fire at 630 Wilson Run Road in Northern Pike County Thursday morning. The property was unoccupied and the State Fire Marshall was called in to investigate as well as no reports of any injuries.

Warrant served for Meth Lab

Pike County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant in regards to a meth lab in the 6800 block of SR 220 Wednesday evening. Pike County Sheriff's Office, Pike County Hazmat and Waverly Fire Department are still on scene and names and details of the bust have not yet been released. More details as we have it.

Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for JACOB BUSH, age 17 of Waverly. Bush apparently left his residence sometime during the late evening of Friday July 18th and early morning of Saturday July 19th. It is unknown what clothing Bush may be wearing but he should be wearing black & white tennis shoes. He also may be carrying a black duffle bag.
JACOB BUSH---AGE 17---5'8---125 lbs---brown hair----blue eyes----if you see Jacob Bush you are asked to contact the Waverly Police Department at 740-947-2179 or contact your local law enforcment agency.
