Piketon Council planning 2013

Prior to its regular meeting on Monday, Piketon Village Council held its annual organizational meeting to elect a president pro temp, receive committee assignments and set meeting dates and times for the year.

Ralph Douthitt was reelected as president pro temp of council, and meeting dates and times will remain the same as they have been — the first and third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. If there is a holiday on Monday, the meeting will be held on Tuesday.

In a special meeting held on Dec. 27, council voted to give all village employees a 3 percent increase in wages and passed a temporary annual appropriations ordinance for $2,084,400.
