Some Jobs Coming to Pike County as Jackson firm buys Waverly facility
Echo Environmental Waverly purchased a 1-million square foot facility in Waverly, formerly part of the Mills Pride campus, to produce smelter-ready recycled metals. It expects to hire 12 employees initially to process and re-sell electronic waste and have as many as 100 in three years. Echo is based in Jackson and is a subsidiary of Elemetal, which was created with the merger of Ohio Precious Metals of Jackson and NTR Metals of Texas.
