Fires at Van Rob not their only woes in 2013

The recent fires at Van Rob have not been their only woes as a company in 2013. The Chillicothe Gazette is reporting that according to Occupational Health and Safety Administration online records in March, that the plant was assessed $22,000 in penalties that have since been adjusted to $15,400 via an informal settlement due to penalties that involved seven “serious” violations. Most of these violations centered around forklifts in such areas as inspection and regular operator evaluation.
